Photos of 7 weird, wacky and wonderful architectural designs from around the world.

Architecture is not just about concrete buildings – it can also be a form of art.

House on the rock: This house is built on a rock in River Drina. It is in the western Serbian town of Bajina Basta, about 160km (99 miles) from the capital Belgrade.

Upside down house: This house, which appears to be upside-down, is in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

This house has been termed as “From The Knees Of My Nose To The Belly Of My Toes.” It’s an installation in Margate, England.

Hovering house: This house looks like as if a piece of London's Covent Garden is float in the air.

Crocodile house: This house, which looks like a massive and grotesquely-smiling crocodile, is in Abidjan, the former capital of the Ivory Coast. The building has been completely hollowed out to create a living space inside the reptile structure.

A house or a car? A car, with an interior that has been converted into a bedroom, is mounted on four-meter-high poles outside an Amsterdam hotel in the Netherlands.

Ice hotel: Guests entering the Hotel de Glace in Quebec, Canada, are sure to get a chilly reception. The hotel is a palatial building constructed entirely out of ice.
